Day 01: Nairobi - Amboseli
You will be picked from your Nairobi Hotel or from the Airport on arrival, you will depart south-west straight for Amboseli National Park at the foot of snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro. Relax after lunch by the pool before enjoying an afternoon game drive in Amboseli, spotting some of its 1000 elephants and perhaps catching sight of buffalo, lions and hippo in the open savannah and swamplands. Return to the lodge for a welcome dinner to get to know your guide and fellow guests.
Overnight Stay: Ol Tukai Lodge.
Day 02-03: Amboseli National Park
Enjoy the game drives early morning, mid-morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli's including a visit to the observation hill. You will hopefully see buffalo and some of the big cats, with plenty of time to also enjoy the facilities at the lodge.
Overnight stay: Oltukai lodge.
Day 04: Amboseli - Tsavo East
Breakfast at the lodge, thereafter set off to Tsavo West National Park. The landscape of Tsavo West is spectacularly varied, with semi-arid plains, open grasslands, dense woodlands, rocky outcrops and lava flows. Pass through the impressive Shetani Lava Flow with a brief photo stop, then continue to the Kilaguni Serena Lodge for lunch. Proceed for an afternoon game drive before returning to your room with a private terrace with far-reaching views, either over the waterhole or towards the Chyulu Hills.
Overnight stay: Kilaguni Serena Lodge.
Day 05: Tsavo East - Tsavo West National park
Tsavo West Enjoy three game drives in historic Tsavo West elephants including a visit to Mzima Springs and spotting the famous Tsavo red elephants.
Overnight Stay: Kilaguni Serena Lodge.
Day 06: Tsavo West - Mombasa
Depart Tsavo after breakfast for Mombasa arriving in your Hotel in time for lunch.
