Day 01: Arrival - Nairobi
Arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International airport met with your driver guide and given complimentary safari hat BEST way to start your African safari in Kenya . The drive to your hotel is about 15 minutes depending on the traffic. Arrival into your hotel –Eka Hotel where you will be assisted by our staff to check in. hotel porters will assist collect your luggage from your vehicle and welcome you the reception where you will be assisted in checking in and quickly assisted to your hotel room. Have a relaxed leisure the rest of the day. (Lunch & dinner not included). Meal plan - Bed and breakfast. Overnight - Eka Hotel
Day 02: Nairobi - Maasai Mara
0700 hrs - Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.
0800 hrs - Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Wilson Apt for your flight to Masai Mara departing at 0900 hrs.
1000 hrs - Arrival into Masai Mara met at the airstrip by your drive guide from your luxury camp and transfer to your camp.
1230 hrs – Enjoy your lunch at the camp.
After lunch you will have an hour to rest from the drive.
1600 hrs - Your driver/guide will take you for your first game viewing drive in this magnificent reserve.
1830 hrs - Return to the camp after your game drive for dinner and overnight

Day 03 - 04: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Optional balloon safari - cost not included - $450 each person. You will be collect you from your camp at around 5AM to drive you to the launch site. You will arrive at the launch site by 6AM, and can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while you watch the balloons being prepared for take-off. You will then meet your pilot, who will give you a safety briefing as well as explain what you can expect during your flight.
A balloon is the perfect safari vehicle able to glide silently across the plains without disturbing the herds below, and at the flick of a hot air burner the basket can be whisked from a high altitude viewpoint to skim low across the grasslands.
Upon landing, you can observe the complete deflation of the balloon envelope. You will be driven to nearby site for a champagne bush breakfast. The breakfast is set up on the picturesque savannah plains of the Mara. You will sit down to a full bush breakfast in the Kenyan style, complete with eggs-to-order, fresh juices, waiters in traditional African attire, and, of course, champagne.
If you don,t go for for balloon your program will be as follows:
0600 hrs - You will be woken up this morning to a lovely African sunrise and at the lobby coffee, tea and cookies will be ready for you.
0630 hrs - Drive off to another adventurous safari drive in search of wild animals. The early mornings and evenings are the best times to watch the big cats hunt - the lion, the cheetah and the leopard. At these times the most glorious sunrise can be observed.
0830 hrs - Return to the camp for a full buffet breakfast.
Morning at leisure –optional - visit Masa Village. - cost payable direct.
A visit to a Maasai Boma (Masai village tour) is an interesting experience. As you arrive at the village, excited children and adults welcome you with song and dance, At certain times, one of the dancers will jump up and down gracefully. The jumps are several feet high! You will be invited to try jumping -(dancing), too, to your dismay you will be no match for their levitation act!!
You will then be welcomed into one of the homesteads in the village, The village huts (called Manyatta) are made of cow dung and clay plastered over stick frames. this is quite practical, the Masai maintain cattle herds, and the dung is always in generous supply, and it's free. One of your host will give you an insight into Maasai life, some of them may not speak English but our guides will interpret for you and the elders so that stories may be exchanged. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the history and lifestyle of these Maasai.
You may ask as many questions as you like and take photographs.
1230 hrs - Lunch will be served in the restaurant after which you will have time to rest before the evening safari.
1600 hrs - We will take you for another exciting evening safari in search of the "big five" the lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and the buffalo.
1830 hrs - After the game drive you will be driven back to the camp.
Dinner and overnight at the camp. Overnight: Mara Exploreans 5*. Meals: All inclusive safari package.
Day 05: Maasai Mara - Nairobi
0630 hrs - Early morning game drive.
0800 hrs – breakfast at the camp.
0900 hrs – check out and drive and you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi.
1230 hrs - Arrival at wilson airport - Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta airport for departure flight.
