8 Days Gerenuk Safari

Day 01: Arrival - Nairobi

Land into Jomo Kenyatta International airport met with your driver guide and given complimentary safari hat BEST way to start your African safari in Kenya. The drive to your hotel is about 15 minutes depending on the traffic. Arrival into your hotel –Eka Hotel where you will be assisted by our staff to check in. hotel porters will assist collect your luggage from your vehicle and welcome you the reception where you will be assisted in checking in and quickly assisted to your hotel room. Have a relaxed leisure the rest of the day.
Overnight stay: Eka Hotel Nairobi. [BB]

Day 02: Nairobi - Samburu

0730 hrs - Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi - After breakfast at your hotel, your driver will pick you up for drive to Samburu, drive through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantation to the cool Kenyan highlands. Drive on to Northern Frontier region.
Stop at the equator to see demonstration and on a clear day you might be lucky to see mount kenya - the second highest mountain in Africa 1230hrs - Arrive at Samburu Sopa for check in then followed by lunch.
1500 hrs - Depart for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. This region is commonly known for its unique wildlife/birdlife i.e. the Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, The Gerenuk and The Gevy’s Zebra.
1830 hrs - Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Samburu Game Reserve

0600 hrs – Woke up to freshen up
0630 hrs – Depart for an early morning game drive.
Early morning are lovely moments to see the nocturnal animals trying to get the last catches before they go to sleep. These also best moments to see the glorious sun as it rises
0830 hrs – Return to the lodge for buffet breakfast Rests of the morning spend at leisure
1230 hrs – Have lunch at the restaurant After lunch have an hour to relax
1600 hrs – Depart for an afternoon game drive
1830 hrs – Return to the lodge for dinner an over night.
Dinner & Overnight stay: Samburu Sopa Lodge [B,L,D]

Day 04: Samburu - Aberdare National Park

0630hrs - Breakfast at leisure.
0730 hrs - After breakfast you will be driven to aberdares country club. via mount Kenya.
1230 hrs - Arrival in time for lunch at the Aberdares country club. After lunch enjoy wonderful view of aberdares sanctuary and mini golf. Later, depart for Aberdares National park - afternoon transfer to the tree hotel, The Ark Tree Lodge. The Ark is a unique concept whereby animals come to drink water at the water hole below the Ark Tree lodge and guests watch the animals from the comfort of their verandah.

Kindly Note:-

• Children under 7 years are not allowed at the Ark without prior arrangements.
• Small luggage allowed at the Ark, rest is left at the base hotel and retrieved the following day

Day 05: Aberdares – Lake Naivasha

0630 hrs – Breakfast at the lodge.
0730 hrs - depart for Lake Naivasha at leisure.
1300 hrs - Arrival into Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodges
Afternoon at leisure - optional boat ride - payable direct.
Dinner & Overnight: Naivasha Sopa Lodge [B,L,D]

Day 06: Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara

(The drive will be about 4.5 hours. (280 kms)
0730 hrs - After breakfast - Your guide will drive you from Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara, enroute you will have two stops to stretch yourself and enjoy the wonderful rural scenery.
Arrival in time for warm welcome you will be offered free welcome drink as you check in, then assisted to your respective rooms later head to the restaurant for hot lunch.
1600 hrs - After enjoying your afternoon Kenyan tea and coffee - Head out this afternoon, for an exciting game viewing adventure.
1830 hrs - After game drive head back to your camp
Dinner & Overnight: Mara Leisure Camp [B,L,D]

Day 07: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

0600 hrs - You will be woken up this morning to a lovely African sunrise and at the lobby coffee, tea and cookies will be ready for you.
0630 hrs - Drive off to another adventurous safari drive in search of wild animals. The early mornings and evenings are the best times to watch the big cats hunt - the lion, the cheetah and the leopard. At these times the most glorious sunrise can be observed.
0830 hrs - Return to the camp for a full buffet breakfast.
1230 hrs - Lunch will be served in the restaurant after which you will have time to rest before the evening safari.
1600 hrs - We will take you for another exciting evening safari in search of the "big five" the lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and the buffalo.
1830 hrs - After the game drive you will be driven back to the camp.
Dinner & Overnight: Mara Leisure Camp [B,L,D]

Day 08: Lake Naivasha - Nairobi - Depart

(The drive will be about 5 hours. (300 kms). Enjoy your buffet breakfast at the lodge.
0730 hrs - Check out and your driver guide will drive you from Masai Mara to Nairobi, with short stop-over's for optional refreshments and shopping for souvenirs.
Arrival into Nairobi in the afternoon - lunch on your own account.
After lunch you will have time at leisure. The opportunity to explore the local markets and shops presents itself today as so you can interact with the local vendors in search for the perfect handicraft or souvenir for yourself or your loved ones.
Before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
